Congratulations to Maddie C. and Annie C., who competed at their first provincial qualifier this past weekend in Windsor! Maddie competed as a level 8 -12 year old - finishing 6th on bars with many new skills added to her program. Annie competed as a level 9-12 year old. She won vault and finished 2nd Overall. Annie also competed many new skills! Way to go girls - we can't wait to see what all you can accomplish this year! |
At Revolution, we are fortunate to have an outstanding team of talented gymnasts and coaches. Time and time again, their hard work and determination has paid off in successes both on the gymnastics stage and in life.
This past week, Kirsten Peterman officially accepted a full-ride scholarship to the University of Maryland. The University sent this video to show what’s in store for Kirsten when she begins this new stage in her life. Watch the video here! Today, Revolution Senior National Team Member Kirsten Peterman officially signed and accepted a full ride scholarship to the University of Maryland! Kirsten will be joining the Terps in the fall of 2016!! Way to go Kirsten! We are all so proud of you!
Congratulations to Katie P. and Maya Z. for being selected to attend Gymnastics Canada's recent Aspire training camp in Montreal at the INS training facility. The girls worked hard under the leadership of Canada's top coaches, including our own Aaron Brokenshire. Way to go ladies!
It's official; the journey to Rio 2016 has begun.
Congratulations to Team Canada and to our very own Sydney Townsend on their excellent placement in qualifying at this years World championships!!! Our girls team placed 7th in qualification which means not only do they advance to the team finals, they also officially qualified a full team to the upcoming Olympics next summer in Rio!!! What an amazing accomplishment!!! As a rookie Senior team member, Sydney made excellent contributions to the scores with her vaults and floor routine.
