Aaron Brokenshire - Director
Aaron Brokenshire - Director
Aaron has been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years. He is one of a few non-soviet coaches to have been mentored for almost a decade in soviet methodology. Aaron has applied that knowledge to deliver a system of gymnastics that implements eastern European techniques with a clear understanding of Canadian society and youth culture. He has completed all of the NCCP Level 4 Master Coaching Modules. Aaron is also certified in standard first aid and CPR. Some professional achievements include coaching several Canadian National Team Members, National Champions, Ontario Provincial Champions, coaching overseas in international competition and addressing NCCP Level III courses as an expert clinician. Outside of the gym Aaron is an avid motocross rider, enjoys travel,cycling, scuba diving and the shooting sports.

Angela Brokenshire
Angela was an International gymnast in the early 1990's competing abroad for our country in France, Cuba and the United States. She was the Canadian National Beam champion and Elite Canada Junior All-Around silver medallist in 1990.Angela's proficiency comes in part through 20+ years of gymnastics experience (many at an elite level), 10 years of coaching and full NCCP Level III certification. Brock University education in Exercise and Sports Management has been a tremendous asset to Angela in our venture. Angela is certified in standard first aid and CPR.Outside of the gym Angela enjoys travel, golf, photography and dance.
Donna Elkerton - General Manager
Donna has been involved in gymnastics for over 15 years in many different roles and has extensive administration knowledge. She is a certified NCCP level 1 coach, and has been a meet director at the Winter Games, many Provincial and Invitational Competitions. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and travelling.
Ashley Otto - Administrator
Ashley is a welcome addition to our team. As the administrator, she handles the ins and outs of the front desk and is the first one you will see when you come to Revolution. Ashley has a vast experience in management and comes to Revolution with a diploma in Business Administration and Marketing. Her goals are to further her schooling, continue with sports and buy a house in the next few years. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys reading, spending time with family and staying active playing sports.
Sarah Elkerton - Gym Manager
Sarah has been involved in gymnastics for 15 years. Sarah coaches classes from Parent & Tot up through to our competitive programs. She is currently working towards completing her NCCP Level 3 Certification in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. Sarah has taken athletes to Ontario Developmental Program evaluations and athletes to Invitational Competitions throughout Ontario. Sarah is certified in standard first aid and CPR. Outside of the gym Sarah enjoys time with her family, working out and traveling.
Berrie Onishenko - Assistant Director
Berrie has been involved in gymnastics for 20+ years. She started gymnastics at the age of 4 and has been hooked ever since. Berrie is fully NCCP Level III certified and has an extensive background in coaching at all levels. She has coached athletes in both Alberta and Ontario at the Provincial and National levels, taking athletes to competition throughout Canada and the US. Berrie is also a Stott Pilates Trained Instructor. In her spare time, she enjoys exercise, reading, travel and spending time with family.

Kayla Arias
Kayla has participated in gymnastics almost her entire life and is committed to ensuring that all children she coaches have a fun and safe gymnastics experience. She has 5 years of experience as a CIT and now has her level 1 certification. Kayla enjoys cross-country, the beach and hopes to one day become a lawyer or teacher.
Meredith Bee
We are very fortunate to have Meredith join our team. She has been involved in gymnastics for several years. Meredith trained and competed for 10 years and brings over 8 years of experience as a certified coach. Meredith is NCCP Level 2 certified. She graduated from the University of Ottawa in Recreation and Leisure Studies and has a Masters in Education from D'Youville College in Buffalo. Currently, Meredith is teaching Grade 2/3 at Cederbrae Public School in Waterloo. On the side, Meredith enjoys golfing and has competed at the Ontario Amateur Women's Golf Tournament for the past 4 years. She also enjoys curling and working out!

Joanne Churchill
Joanne's experience in the gym and the classroom makes her a huge asset to the Centre. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University where she majored in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Her qualifications include Level 2 Women's Gymnastics, Level 1 Trampoline, Emergency First Aid & CPR, as well as Risk Management. Joanne's gymnastics and dance experience spans more than two decades. She was a pivotal member of her school gymnastics team, competed at five consecutive CWOSSA meets and choreographed routines for junior team members. Competitive dance took her as far as New York State and South Carolina before she retired to teach dance and pursue her other interests of long distance running, gymnastics, cheerleading and music. Currently, Joanne is building a tutoring business and is passionate to help children with challenges or unique learning styles. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and three children.
Elyse Craig
Elyse brings 9 years of coaching experience to Revolution Gymnastics. She is NCCP Level 1 certified in both Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline. While coaching at Bluewater Gymnastics in Sarnia, Elyse won the “coach of the session” award in 2010. She brings this enthusiasm to Revolution where she enjoys coaching as well as learning new coaching techniques. She has a passion for French and likes to curl in her spare time.
Lisa Crozier
Lisa has been coaching gymnastics for 7 years and has her NCCP Level 1 certification. She is also certified in Risk Management and First Aid (CPR). Lisa loves working with children, which is a great asset in her role as coach! Lisa is aiming toward a career as a Special Education teacher and is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work. Outside of the gym, Lisa enjoys basketball and playing her clarinet and tenor Saxophone!

Stephanie Earl
Stephanie has been involved in gymnastics for 11 years in Montreal, Quebec and Ontario. She is eager to share her gymnastics experience with the children she coaches. In addition to being a top student, Stephanie enjoys spending time outdoors, snowboarding and hiking.
Kelsey Forrest

Kelsey has 8 years of gymnastics experience and has competed in both gymnastics and cheerleading. She is a member of the Canadian Championship cheerleading team and hopes to one day make Team Canada. She has her Level 1 and First Aid certification. She is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree and hopes to continue her studies at the Graduate level. Her hobbies include horseback riding and camping.
Alex Hildebrand
Alex trained as a competitive gymnast for 5 years at Revolution Gymnastics and we are happy to have her as part of our coaching team. In addition to gymnastics, Alex is a strong competitor in cross-country and track and field and hopes one day to go to OFSSA for cross country/track and field. She also plays ringette and hopes to make it to the National Championships this season. She is CPR certified and has her Level 1 certification. In her spare time, she enjoys playing violin and piano.
Julia Hildebrand
We are fortunate to have Julia join the Revolution coaching team. Julia has 6 years of gymnastics experience at Revolution Gymnastics where she competed successfully at a number of Invitational Events. She is also a competitive ringette player and has had success in cross country and track and field as well. She has certification in First Aid and Level 1 gymnastics coaching.
Ksusha Kostiounina
Kshusha was a competitive rhythmic gymnast most of her life, winning numerous medals at Invitational meets and at Provincial Championships. She is NCCP Level 1 certified in women’s artistic gymnastics and is working towards certification as a personal fitness trainer. She is presently attending university which takes up most of her free time.
Valerie Lesica

Valerie comes to Revolution Gymnastics with 12 years of coaching experience. She is NCCP Level 1 certified in both Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline and has Risk Management, Respect in Sport and High Five credentials. She is working toward Level 2 women’s artistic and Level 1 rhythmic certification. Valerie is a graduate of Seneca College and McMaster University and hopes to one day design, produce and sell her own clothing line. In her spare time, Valerie enjoys rollerblading, art and research.

Sydney LeTourneau
Sydney comes to revolution from the Norwell Cobras Gym Club in Palmerston, Ontario. She is NCCP Level 1 certified in artistic gymnastics and has been coaching for 4 years. She currently attends Wilfrid Laurier University and hopes to one day become a teacher and writer. She derives much satisfaction helping children acquire gymnastics skills and instilling in them a love for the sport. In addition to a love of sports, Sydney enjoys playing guitar, reading and dancing.
Heather Lomax
Heather brings 8 years of cheerleading experience to revolution Gymnastics. She competed in both Canada and US and was OVFL Champion in 2005 and PCA National Champion in 2006. She is currently studying Chemical Engineering at UW and continues to be active in cheerleading, dance, soccer and volleyball.
Beth MacDonald
Beth has 8 years of gymnastics experience and 6 years of coaching experience. She has NCCP Level 1 certification as well as certification in First Aid and “High 5”. Beth is pursuing a degree in Recreation and leisure and hopes to continue working with children as either a teacher or educational assistant. In addition to ensuring the kids she coaches have a fun and safe experience, Beth enjoys soccer, hockey, reading and crafts.

Heidi O'Neill

Heidi was a competitive gymnast at the Provincial level and has coached gymnastics for over 5 years at Guelph Saultos and Woolwich Gymnastics clubs. She enjoys playing rugby, camping and reading in her free time.

Julianne O’Neill

Julianne comes to Revolution from Bluewater gymnastics in Sarnia where she competed for 9 years. Her goal is to share her passion and enthusiasm for gymnastics with her students and is currently completing her NCCP Level 1 certification. She is pursuing a joint Honours degree in French and Math at the University of Waterloo and enjoys traveling, scrap-booking and working out in her spare time.

Sheridan Parker
Sheridan has been involved in gymnastics for 6 years as both a competitive gymnast and CIT coach at Revolution. We are pleased that she has now come on board as a coach where she can pass on her enthusiasm for the sport to a younger generation. Sheridan hopes to become a pediatrician one day and fills her free time with cheerleading, swimming and track and field.
Lindsay Soikie

Lindsay brings 12 years of gymnastics experience to the Revolution coaching team. She enjoys coaching and is looking forward to gaining new coaching skills. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys the outdoors, mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding on the winter.

Payton Thiel
Payton has been a competitive gymnast at Revolution for 5 years and we are happy that she has now joined our coaching team! She is NCCP Level 1 certified and is certified in First Aid and CPR. Payton has been competitive in basketball and track and field and enjoys cheerleading, snowboarding, running/working out and reading!

Samantha Tyrrell

Samantha brings 10 years of coaching experience to Revolution Gymnastics. She is NCCP Level 2 certified and has certifications in both risk management and First Aid. She competed as a Provincial level gymnast for 11 years and competed internationally as a Provincial team member. Samantha hopes to one day work in the environmental field while continuing to pursue her interest in running, skiing/snowboarding and cycling.
Callie Weaver
Callie has both NCCP Level 1 and First Aid certification. She enjoys working with children while pursuing studies at University.
