Aaron Brokenshire - Director
Aaron Brokenshire - Director
Aaron has been involved in gymnastics for over 30 years. He is one of a few non-soviet coaches to have been mentored for almost a decade in soviet methodology. Aaron has applied that knowledge to deliver a system of gymnastics that implements eastern European techniques with a clear understanding of Canadian society and youth culture. He has completed all of the NCCP Level 4 Master Coaching Modules. Aaron is also certified in standard first aid and CPR. Some professional achievements include coaching several Canadian National Team Members, National Champions, Ontario Provincial Champions, coaching overseas in international competition and addressing NCCP Level III courses as an expert clinician. Outside of the gym Aaron is an avid motocross rider, enjoys travel,cycling, scuba diving and the shooting sports.
Angela Brokenshire
Angela was an International gymnast in the early 1990's competing abroad for our country in France, Cuba and the United States. She was the Canadian National Beam champion and Elite Canada Junior All-Around silver medallist in 1990.Angela's proficiency comes in part through 20+ years of gymnastics experience (many at an elite level), 10 years of coaching and full NCCP Level III certification. Brock University education in Exercise and Sports Management has been a tremendous asset to Angela in our venture. Angela is certified in standard first aid and CPR.Outside of the gym Angela enjoys travel, golf, photography and dance.
Sarah Elkerton - Gym Manager
Sarah has been involved in gymnastics for 15 years. Sarah coaches classes from Parent & Tot up through to our competitive programs. She is currently working towards completing her NCCP Level 3 Certification in Women's Artistic Gymnastics. Sarah has taken athletes to Ontario Developmental Program evaluations and athletes to Invitational Competitions throughout Ontario. Sarah is certified in standard first aid and CPR. Outside of the gym Sarah enjoys time with her family, working out and traveling.
Melissa Evans - Recreational Director
Melissa has been involved in gymnastics for 15 years. Melissa directs our Recreational Program, and coaches classes from Parent & Tot to Adv. Sr. Girls classes. Melissa has completed her NCCP level 2, and is certified in standard First Aid, and CPR/AED. Melissa has also received a college diploma in Law & Security Administration. Outside of the gym Melissa enjoys travelling and volleyball.
Theresa Kanmacher - Administrator
Kayla Arias
Kayla has participated in gymnastics almost her entire life and is committed to ensuring that all children she coaches have a fun and safe gymnastics experience. She has 5 years of experience as a CIT and now has her level 1 certification. Kayla enjoys cross-country, the beach and hopes to one day become a lawyer or teacher.
Joanne Churchill
Joanne's experience in the gym and the classroom makes her a huge asset to the Centre. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University where she majored in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Her qualifications include Level 2 Women's Gymnastics, Level 1 Trampoline, Emergency First Aid & CPR, as well as Risk Management. Joanne's gymnastics and dance experience spans more than two decades. She was a pivotal member of her school gymnastics team, competed at five consecutive CWOSSA meets and choreographed routines for junior team members. Competitive dance took her as far as New York State and South Carolina before she retired to teach dance and pursue her other interests of long distance running, gymnastics, cheerleading and music. Currently, Joanne is building a tutoring business and is passionate to help children with challenges or unique learning styles. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her husband and three children.
Lisa Crozier
Lisa has been coaching gymnastics for 7 years and has her NCCP Level 2 certification. She is also certified in Risk Management and First Aid (CPR). Lisa loves working with children, which is a great asset in her role as coach! Lisa is aiming toward a career as a Special Education teacher and is pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work. Outside of the gym, Lisa enjoys basketball and playing her clarinet and tenor Saxophone!

Kelsey Forrest

Kelsey has 8 years of gymnastics experience and has competed in both gymnastics and cheerleading. She is a member of the Canadian Championship cheerleading team and hopes to one day make Team Canada. She has her Level 1 and First Aid certification. She is currently working toward a Bachelor of Science degree and hopes to continue her studies at the Graduate level. Her hobbies include horseback riding and camping.
Alex Hildebrand
Alex trained as a competitive gymnast for 5 years at Revolution Gymnastics and we are happy to have her as part of our coaching team. In addition to gymnastics, Alex is a strong competitor in cross-country and track and field and hopes one day to go to OFSSA for cross country/track and field. She also plays ringette and hopes to make it to the National Championships this season. She is CPR certified and has her Level 1 certification. In her spare time, she enjoys playing violin and piano.
Julia Hildebrand
We are fortunate to have Julia join the Revolution coaching team. Julia has 6 years of gymnastics experience at Revolution Gymnastics where she competed successfully at a number of Invitational Events. She is also a competitive ringette player and has had success in cross country and track and field as well. She has certification in First Aid and Level 1 gymnastics coaching.
Eden Nail
Eden has 8 years of gymnastics experience, and has competed in both gymnastics and cheerleading. Eden currently attends the University of Laurier. Eden's future goals are to compete with Team Canada for cheerleading at the Cheerleading Worlds, and hopes to become a physiotherapist. Outside of the gym Eden enjoys rugby,volleyball, swimming and cheerleading.

Lindsay Soikie
Lindsay brings 12 years of gymnastics experience to the Revolution coaching team. She enjoys coaching and is looking forward to gaining new coaching skills. In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys the outdoors, mountain biking in the summer and snowboarding on the winter, hiking and camping

Payton Thiel
Payton has been with Revolution since it opened. Payton currently attends McMaster University, where she hopes to graduate with honours and become a nurse. Payton is NCCP level 2 certified, as well as standard first aid certified. Outside of the gym Payton enjoys cheerleading, Payton has also competed at the Cheerleading Worlds in Florida.

April Chappell
April brings over 5 years of pre-competitive, and Invitational coaching experience to Revolution. April is currently attending the University of Laurier, where she is studying to receive a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in math, with future goals of becoming a high school math teacher, and continuing to coach. April is NCCP level 2 certified, and standard first aid certified. Outside of the gym April enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and working out.

Danielle Juneau
Danielle has been involved in gymnastics for the past 10 years. Danielle competed as a a trampolinist, where she won the Provincial Championships for Trampoline. Danielle is currently working towards completing her NCCP level 2. Danielle enjoys travelling and cheerleading with the University of Waterloo cheer team.

Adrian Konstant
Adrian brings over 19 years of gymnastics experience to Revolution. Adrian's future goal is to sell one of his screenplays. Adrian is certified as an NCCP level 1 coach. Adrian's past gymnastics accomplishments include competing at Nationals. Outside of the gym Adrian enjoys playing the guitar, writing, swing dancing, travelling and being a camera technician/ operator.

Katie Turner
Katie brings 8 years of coaching experience, and is NCCP level 2 certified. Katie currently is a supply teacher, and has taught in Australia for a year as a math teacher, and has volunteered with Special Olympics Rythmic Gymnastics. Katie also enjoys coaching cross country and track and field.

Amanda Hanley
Amanda is currently NCCP level 1 certified, and has a future goal of becoming NCCP level 2 certified. Amanda brings 5 years of coaching experience to Revolution. Amanda's future goal is to travel to Australia to rescue and foster kola bears. Outside of the gym Amanda enjoys animals, gymnastics, and cheerleading.

Julia Moreau
We are fortunate to have Julia join the Revolution coaching team. Julia has 12 years of gymnastics experience at Revolution Gymnastics where she competed successfully as a level 9 gymnast and represented Team Ontario in Cuba. Julia's future goal is to attend university for a medical profession. Outside the gym Julia enjoys reading, working out, track and field, and swimming.
Carli Thomas
Carli brings 8 years of gymnastics experience to Revolution. Carli is NCCP level 2 certified. Carli currently attends Laurier University where she hopes to graduate with a kinesiology degree, and to get into graduate school. Carli volunteers with kindergarden children disabilities, and enjoys cheerleading.
